About New York Tour Guides
We help visitors find independent New York guides, and the tours they love to lead.
Why we built it
The best way to see New York is with someone who knows it from the inside. But independent guides are hard to find among the big tour sellers. We give them a place to show who they are, and give visitors an easy way to ask about the tour they want.
How it works
Every guide and tour is reviewed by our team before it's listed. When you send an inquiry, it goes straight to that guide, who replies to you directly to confirm availability, the final price and how to pay. We don't take bookings or payments, and nothing is booked until you agree it with your guide.
What we check
We read every listing and ask guides for changes when something isn't clear. Guides leading tours in the five boroughs must hold an NYC Sightseeing Guide license, and we check license numbers against the city's public register.

New York Tour Guides is operated by Luteic. We're in our launch period, working with a small group of founding guides.
